The Redmi K50 was reported to arrive in February 2022, and today we have an official confirmation from the company. The brand posted a teaser on Weibo, revealing the series will arrive “next month”, without clarifying which day exactly. The Pro phone will have 120W fast charging, as well as the already expected Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
The battery of the Redmi K50 Pro will have 4,700mAh capacity, which will be filled from 0 to 100% in 17 minutes, the brand claimed in its post. It is the same 120W standard as on the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ and some phones under the Xiaomi brand, and now it’s making it to the K lineup.
Redmi claims the new K50 Pro will have dual vapor chamber, for twice as powerful liquid-cooled heat dissipation with super-large area, hence the freezing aesthetics of the poster. It will be the “coldest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 phone”, Xiaomi says.
