Coming as the first major content update to hit the console versions of Insurgency: Sandstorm, Operation: Warlord introduces a fresh tactical game mode called Ambush. One team of players will need to escort a VIP while defending against the opposing team’s assassination attempt. The mode could become a little trickier when played on the new close-quarters orientated map, Gap, which is structured around tight city alleyways. The update also introduces the P90 and Vector submachine guns, which will complement the new map’s lack of space, and plenty of fresh cosmetic items to unlock.
Outside of the free update, Focus Home Interactive has announced that the Praetorian Set Bundle is also available from the store as Year 2 premium cosmetics, though players that own Insurgency: Sandstorm Gold Edition or the Year 2 Pass can download the set for free.
