Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm and Exercise continues to be a surprising way to meet new hunky men, because the latest trainer to be added to the game (just in time for the post-Christmas guilt regime) is Guy, a floppy-haired boyband lookalike who’s been through tough times.
Guy isn’t just a handsome face who will make you good at boxing: he’s a former professional boxer himself, who became an instructor following a career-ending injury. And he’s just 27! So eligible.
Some of his voice lines include “you’ll get no pity from me” and a pithy “so, you like this kind of style?” when dressing him in outfits, which presumably are both intended to make you work harder so as not to disappoint him. We see what you’re doing there, Imagineer.
Guy was actually announced and added to the game at the start of November as a free update, so you may have already seen him in the game. Or, if you’re like us, you haven’t touched an exercise game since… April. Sorry, Guy.
Of course, there’s the actual Fitness Boxing anime on the way in Japan, making it worth getting to know the cast again… so get back on that fitness horse already! Guy’s waiting.
