Over the weekend, Codebrew Games released a new trailer for the sequel to the excellent city builder Pocket City ($2.99). Pocket City 2 has a new city building experience, exploring as you build with your own avatar, day night cycle, mini-games, and more. It has been in development for a while now, and we have a new gameplay trailer showing off the mini-games, exploration, and the 3D building experience. Pocket City 2 is in development for iOS and Android. Despite going 3D, Pocket City 2 still looks and feels like a true followup to Pocket City while maintaining a gorgeous aesthetic. As of now, Pocket City 2 is in development for a mid 2023 release date on iOS and Android. You can sign up for updates on the release date or betas on the official website here. The official site also has posts about how various aspects of the 3D game are being handled. This recent behind the scenes post is worth reading.
