Second Dinner has kicked off Marvel Snap‘s first-ever “Winterverse” event today, debuting two new cards, holiday variants for certain characters, and 14 days of login rewards. The holiday event plans to run until January 3, so now’s the time to grab what you can before it’s gone!
The two new cards, Sentry and Darkhawk, are now available for players to try. Superhero Sentry cannot be played at the right location and has an “On Reveal” effect where he can add a -8 Power Void to any chosen location. Darkhawk has a simpler quirk, giving +2 Power for each card in your opponent’s deck.
Outside of those additions, players could also grab Winterverse Variants during the event. Every time players open a Collector’s Reserve, they might get one of the five unique variants. The top of this post shows four of them: Ebony Maw, Patriot, Rogue, and Rockslide, while the last is an Abomination holiday variant.
For a limited time, players could also purchase a Winterverse Bundle packed with a Sunspot Winterverse Variant, Avatar, 2,000 Collector’s Tokens, 8,000 Credits, 100 Sunspot Booters, and a “Tacos After This?” title.
Finally, those who log in during the 14 days can earn Gold, Credits, Boosters, and even a Samuel L. Jackson autographed Nick Fury card in Marvel Snap.
