KartRider: Drift is revving up for a closed beta starting today, and you’ll have a full week to tool around in Nexon’s cute racing title. The beta will run from 4 p.m. Pacific today until 5 a.m. Pacific on December 15 and be available to players on PC via Steam and the Nexon launcher, as well as on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
A Q&A was held last week, which filled players in on many of the details that would be present in this beta. These include: 17 new tracks (33 total), seven characters, 22 karts, and 55 kart customization options; a friend system; skill-based matchmaking; an improved tutorial, and more. A “racing pass” has also been implemented for the beta, with the intent that players should be able to complete it in about two days.
