Xbox One and PS4 versions of Hogwarts Legacy have been delayed and will no longer launch in February as planned, Warner Bros has announced.
While Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC versions of Hogwarts Legacy are still down to release on February 10th, 2023, the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game have been delayed by a couple of months and will now launch on April 4th, 2023.
Previous-gen versions of Hogwarts Legacy delayed
“Hogwarts Legacy will launch on April 4th, 2023, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and on July 25th, 2023, for Nintendo Switch,” the Hogwarts Legacy team said on Twitter. The reason for the delay is so developer Avalanche Games can “deliver the best possible game experience across all platforms.”
Warner Bros. and Avalanche have plans to share more Hogwarts Legacy gameplay in a second showcase on December 14th. We will apparently see more on broom flight and Hogwarts Legacy’s combat.
