Halo Infinite’s Season 3 — Echoes Within — is finally live, and with it, a bunch of improvements to customization and progression, as well as new additions to the popular multiplayer FPS shooter.
The battle pass in season 3 is unlike the one in season 1, or even season 2. For starters, there’s a fourth challenge slot and perpetual bonus experience points that will make progression less tedious. On top of that, the shop is now easier to browse and more items will remain available throughout the season in comparison to the previous ones. Developer 343 Industries also changed up the bundles to make them more valuable.
There’s also three new maps: Oasis (Big Team Battle), Cliffhanger (Arena), and Chasm (Arena), as well as a new game mode — Escalation Slayer. Additionally, a new gun is available — the semi-automatic M392 Bandit, and new equipment — the Shroud Screen. Two new Armor Cores too: MIRAGE IIC and CHIMERA.
In celebration of the new season, the Mindfall event will run from March 7 to 21, featuring a free 10-tier Event Pass for the MIRAGE IIC Armor Core. And the Fracture: FIREWALL event follows, featuring rewards focused on the CHIMERA Armor Core.
