The next episode of GTA Online is called ‘The Contract,’ and sees the return of Franklin Clinton and Chop the dog as you help them recover Dr. Dre’s missing phone — and unreleased tunes.
The Contract is set to join GTA Online on December 15th, giving us a chance to play through a new story with returning character Franklin Clinton. Clinton has set up a new “celebrity solutions agency” that helps the Vinewood elite, called F. Clinton and Partner. After Lamar Davis connects you with Franklin, you’ll need to use your new partner status to help Dr. Dre find his missing phone. Why is such a trivial task so important? The phone in question holds unreleased tracks from the rapper, and it’s currently residing in the wrong hands.

Rockstar Games says that the story will take us all over Los Santos, on a “wild and hilarious ride,” from Franklin’s old neighbourhood to the FIB offices. The journey will give us a chance to work with Franklin, an expert hacker called Imani, and an older-looking Chop the Dog — the pooch is the biggest star of the update, obviously.
Alongside The Contract’s story, new weapons and vehicles will be added to the game, including a Compact EMP Launcher. A new radio station will become available, as well as some “first-of-their-kind” updates to existing radio stations, featuring new and unreleased exclusive tracks from Dr. Dre.
