Exoprimal’s open beta kicks off tomorrow, offering us a chance to take on enemy players and AI dinosaurs for a limited time ahead of its Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Game Pass launch in July.
If you’ve been on the fence about Capcom’s upcoming shooter featuring PvPvE gameplay, then the Exoprimal open beta could be a great chance to see if it’s for you or not. It kicks off tomorrow and you can download it now on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
Prepare for the Exoprimal open beta by downloading it now
As one of the confirmed games coming to Game Pass in July, and with the fact that it features a myriad of prehistoric monsters, Exoprimal has undoubtedly caught the attention of many of us. It’s a futuristic third-person shooter that loads you into customisable exosuits to battle it out against other players as well as AI dinosaurs. Its main game mode Dino Survival, which is available in the beta, tasks you with a mission containing PvE and PvP objectives — the team that completes their mission the fastest is crowned the winner.

Exoprimal is an online, team-based action game that pits humanity’s cutting-edge exosuit technology against history’s most ferocious beasts – dinosaurs.
The Exoprimal open beta runs between March 17th and March 20th on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, offering cross-platform multiplayer for its Dino Survival mode, seven missions, and three maps, as well as Tutorial and Training modes. You’ll have a chance to take ten different exosuits for a spin alongside six weapon loadouts called Rigs. Following the beta, Capcom will offer a survey, which upon completion will reward you with an exclusive in-game Charm: Aibius Medal.
