The Xbox Game Pass library adds a long-awaited game today as Valheim arrives for Xbox with full crossplay — the Iron Gate team is celebrating Valheim’s Xbox launch with a new trailer, too.
Valheim arrives today for Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, meaning the wait is over and you can sett off on your own viking adventure in the tenth world. Check out the new Xbox launch trailer below:
Valheim arrives for Xbox Game Pass
“Ever since we first launched Valheim we have been getting questions about when the game will be available for console players. And now the day of the Xbox release is finally here, and you are now able to play Valheim on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S! The game is available both for purchase and with Xbox Game Pass,” the Iron Gate team says. “As promised, there is full crossplay, so you can play with your friends no matter if they play via Xbox, Microsoft or Steam. Just make sure to have the crossplay feature enabled!”
Valheim sees you setting out into a world inspired by Norse mythology and fighting to stay alive; crafting weapons, building bases, fighting monsters, sailing the seas, exploring mysteries, and generally being the best viking you can be.
At the time of writing, no Valheim achievements have yet scanned in. We’ll keep an eye out and update you when they appear.
