If you’re missing any of the Splinter Cell games from your library, now’s the time to grab them — every Xbox and Xbox 360 game in the series is featured in this week’s Xbox sale.
It’s not uncommon to see entire game series featured in the weekly Xbox sales — Resident Evil fans have every main game to choose from on discount this week ahead of next week’s Resident Evil 4 remake, for instance — but it’s certainly a rarer occurrence when it comes to older titles. This week, though, Splinter Cell fans can pick up all four original Xbox games as well as the three Xbox 360 games at pretty decent discounts, with a couple of them reduced to new low prices.
All seven Xbox Splinter Cell games discounted in current sale
While we await more news on Ubisoft’s upcoming Splinter Cell remake, we can always dive back into some of Sam Fisher’s previous outings to get our stealth fix. Naturally, the four original Xbox games don’t have achievements, nor can their online components be used following the closure of OG Xbox Live way back in 2010. As for the 360 games, two have seen server closures in the last six months that have impacted them differently — Blacklist went dark back in October, with two achievements for daily/weekly challenges seemingly only sporadically available since, while Double Agent closed last month, although the multiplayer achievements in both games can still be earned in private games so you can create or join gaming sessions here on TA if you’re after those. Best we can tell, Conviction is still working fine, though sound off in the comments if you know any different!
These games are part of the Publisher Spotlight Series sale that runs until March 27th, so you’ve got just shy of two weeks to grab them if you’re looking to round out your digital Splinter Cell collection.
