If you’ve been hoping to see more about Airship Syndicate and Digital Extremes’ Wayfinder, today is the day. At PAX East, attendees were given an exclusive first look at a new Wayfinder named Venomess. She’ll drop alongside Season One in the game. Both the character and the game’s first season will be part of Early Access on PC and PlayStation in May.
Before Early Access, however, there will be another closed beta test. Those interested in participating in the coming weeks can visit the Wayfinder website to sign up.
As for the panel itself, it consisted of Creative Director Joe Madureira, Airship Syndicate President Ryan Stefanelli, and Marketing and Engagement Director AJ LaSaracina. The panel offered a look a the new character with an animated trailer offering some of her backstory.
