The fire under Activision Blizzard continues to heat up as calls for a strike and a union rise. A Better ABK took to Twitter to announce a potential strike and the creation of a GoFundMe campaign that is now accepting donations should funds be needed to cover lost wages for striking employees.
Hot on the heels of layoffs at Raven Software and the walkouts that followed them, and a press conference where another victim, dubbed “Christine”, laid out her accusations of harassment, A Better ABK publicly revealed details of some behind the scenes happening as the group works with the Communications Workers of America (CWA) to collect signed union cards in an attempt to trigger a union vote.
Today, the ABK Worker’s Alliance announces the initiation of its strike. We encourage our peers in the Game Industry to stand with us in creating lasting change. For those who wish to join in solidarity, please consider donating to our Strike Fund.https://t.co/IauGyxuLYG

Whether or not this changes the tone and actions of the company has yet to be seen, but if you’d like to contribute to the fund you can do so at the link above.
